Household/Villa Manager. Dubai

This is a great opportunity for an experienced household manager to supervise a villa in Dubai. Flexibility is the key for this role – it will require full-time assistance prior to the family visits and during their stays. It could be managed on a part-time basis between family visits, to make sure everything is functioning properly while they are away.

Responsibilities

• Household management responsibilities, maintenance and supervision
• Systematic villa checks:
• Walk through every room
• Check AC
• Check for water leaks
• Run taps/showers
• Flush toilets
• Check drains
• Inspect roof
• Check garden/irrigation
• Check Wi-Fi
• Check CCTV/alarm
• Check for pests
• Report any issues with photos
• Preparing villa for the family visits:
• AC set correctly
• Supervising the housekeeper, and being flexible to step up and assist her/him with cleaning when required
• Insuring that beds are freshly made
• Fresh towels
• Toiletries stocked
• Fridge stocked
• Coffee ready
• Roof cleaned
• Roof cushions put out
• TV/streaming checked
• Wi-Fi checked
• Garden tidy
• During the family visits, you will be required to ensure they have a pleasant stay
• Assisting the family with various enquiries
• Making sure that everything functions well in the property
• Helping the family to navigate their life in Dubai, managing meetings, agenda, social gatherings
• Stocking/restocking supplies
• Managing the housekeeper, assisting him/her when required
• Wardrobe management, packing and unpacking

Key skills and competencies

• Experience in household management, maintenance, housekeeping is required, either from a HNW residence or a luxury hotel
• Trustworthiness and reliability
• References from previous places of employment
• Resourcefulness and ability to sort out, relate and organise tasks
• Fluent English language
• Flexible attitude – what would you do if a housekeeper is away? Would you clean the villa yourself? The answer should be yes.
• Eye to detail
• Good organisational skills
• Ability to find, negotiate and hire various service suppliers, maintenance people etc.
• Willing to go the extra mile, staying overtime when and if required
