About The Role

FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a Purview Trainer with Active SC to work for our client within the public sector. This is initially a 6-month contract with the potential to extend and will be a remote role with occasional travel into London or Manchester.

We are seeking a skilled and engaging Microsoft Purview Trainer to design and deliver comprehensive training that enables users to confidently and accurately apply data classification labels in real-world scenarios.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality training sessions (both live and pre-recorded) tailored to different user groups.
  • Facilitate engaging, interactive learning sessions to maximise user understanding and adoption
  • Develop and maintain hands-on training materials, including Demo environments that simulate real-world use cases and scenario-based exercises aligned to business processes
  • Gather user feedback and continuously refine training content and delivery methods.
  • Provide ongoing feedback and insights to the Product and Training Lead to improve the overall programme.

About You

  • Applicants must hold active SC clearance and have worked within a government department within the past 12 months.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Purview (Information Protection, sensitivity labels, data governance)
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into clear, user-friendly guidance
  • Experience creating engaging training materials and practical exercises
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
